Dr. Hamza Atassi is a specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a caring surgeon with a gentle chair-side manner who believes every patient should be treated as if they were family. He is committed to providing the highest quality, skillful and personal service that one deserves.
Dr. Atassi’s journey toward becoming an oral surgeon took root early on. After moving alone to the United States at 21, he took his first job as a dental assistant for the renowned oral surgeon Dr. Shadi Daher in downtown Boston.
Dr. Atassi was highly influenced by Dr. Daher’s love for treating patients and astounded by the detail-oriented approach required in placing implants and extracting teeth. Dr. Atassi followed in Dr. Daher’s footsteps by earning his D.M.D degree from Boston University and his oral surgery degree from TUFTS Medical Center.
Dr. Atassi’s diverse interests also shaped his approach to patient care. Growing up speaking four languages, playing both basketball and the guitar, he developed a keen ability to connect with patients on a personal level.
Known for his gentle demeanor and compassionate nature, Dr. Atassi takes pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for his patients and his mission is to prove that oral surgery does not have to be scary.
In his free time, Dr. Atassi loves spending time with his wife and pets. He is a big Boston Celtics fan and aspires to be a Boston Celtics season ticket holder. Dr. Atassi also believes in continuous personal development and always aspires to improve himself in all aspects of life.
