Meet Dr. Jennifer Frangos

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Jennifer Frangos epitomizes excellence in her field. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Frangos serves as part-time clinical faculty at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, nurturing the next generation of dental professionals.

Dr. Frangos’s commitment to community extends beyond the dental clinic. She dedicates one Saturday per month to providing dental care at Middlesex Prison in Billerica, MA, ensuring access to essential oral health services for underserved populations. Moreover, she contributes her expertise to the New York University Global Outreach Program, where she spends a week each year traveling the world to offer free dental care to underdeveloped regions.

Since 2019, Dr. Frangos has played a pivotal role in shaping dental education and professional development as a member of the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Continuing Education Executive Committee.

Born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York City, Dr. Frangos’s journey in healthcare began at the University of Rochester, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Her diverse background includes experiences as an Emergency Medical Technician, Physical Therapy Aide, and Park Ranger before pursuing dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with distinction.

Dr. Frangos further honed her skills through a rigorous four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Her clinical interests encompass a wide spectrum, including implant dentistry, impacted wisdom teeth, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery.

Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Frangos embraces life’s adventures. Whether it’s traversing the globe, skiing down slopes, exploring underwater depths through scuba diving, or strumming melodies on the guitar, she finds joy in every moment. Dr. Frangos currently resides on the South Shore of Massachusetts with her family, cherishing precious moments together.

Dr. John P. Ouano received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1992. Dr. Ouano is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Wael Youseff received his dental degree from Damascus University and then completed his dental education at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland Ohio. Before private practice, Dr. Youseff was an assistant professor and director of the internship program at the Boston University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
