Dr. Omar Alani is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with comprehensive training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Malaya before relocating to the United States in 2013.
He subsequently completed an AO Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, gaining advanced experience in complex surgical care and reconstruction.
Dr. Alani earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine DMD degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2018. He later served as an attending at Boston University Medical Center through 2021, contributing his clinical expertise to patient care and surgical education.
His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery and dental implantology with a focus on providing comprehensive, evidence-based surgical care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of his professional practice, Dr. Alani enjoys spending time with his two children and their two horses, traveling to horse shows, and exploring new destinations.
